FIRST AID RISK ASSESSMENT
THIS COURSE IS INTENDED FOR:
Companies who have not yet carried out a First Aid Risk Assessment of the workplace.
COURSE CONTENT:
The Risk Assessment will be carried out by a qualified Risk Assessor and First Aider who will use all protocols laid down by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. A full report will be provided following this assessment.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
On completion of the course candidates will be able to:
- Undertake effective control of First Aid situations should they arise.
- Understand the precautions required to be taken whilst dealing with any casualties.
- Understand the need for effective record keeping.
- Ensure that the company First Aiders act in a safe and effective manner whilst treating any casualty suffering injury or illness whilst at work.
