Groups of personnel who are responsible for the management of health & safety. These include Managers, Supervisors and Senior Safety Personnel

CONTENT:
The advanced certificate in health & safety provides an opportunity to look into general health & safety from a supervisory perspective and then to contribute to the companies health & safety management systems.

OBJECTIVES:
On completion the course member will be able to:

1. Manage health & safety in most businesses.
2. Develop Monitoring and auditing programmes.
3. Design safe practices and procedures.
4. Liaise with enforcement officers.
5. Interpret legal requirements
6. Train staff and establish risk assessments projects (with additional training where necessary)

On-site at the company’s premises, subject to adequate lecture and demonstration facilities being available.
